I've put together a brief guide that shows my pricing and how the process looks when you work with me.
I know it might seem like a lot of information, but I want to cover as much as possible upfront to help you make an informed decision. Picking your wedding photographer is a big deal, after all!
Since we'll be hanging out together for a good chunk of your wedding day, it's super important that we get along. Trust me, it makes all the difference in capturing those natural moments and ensuring everyone has a blast. So, if you feel like we could hit it off or if my photography style speaks to you, thats a fantastic starting point!

This is YOUR day, and you get to call the shots. No rules, no boundaries. You don’t want the big wedding, no worries. Don't feel like rocking a traditional white dress? Who cares! Wear whatever the heck makes you feel amazing.
Cake not your thing? No problem! Do you want it to be just you and your partner and nothing but the mountains for company (well maybe a celebrant just so it’s actually a legal). Then do that!

I'll keep in touch on and off throughout your wedding planning and around 6 weeks before your wedding i'll send through a run sheet questionnaire so I can get to know all the final details about your big day!
I'm always just an email away if you want to chat at any time!
Wahoo! Let's lock it in! Once I have your booking fee and we have all signed along the dotted line of your contact your wedding will be locked into my calendar! Your wedding is not 100% booked in until I have both the booking fee and contract,
At this stage i'll also send you a wedding guide that has some handy wedding planning tips i've picked up over the last 10 years as a photographer.
A free consultation for you to get a feel for what it'll be like working with me. We'll can chat about what your plans are and how I can help you make it all work. I also think it's super important for you to meet me before you decide to book, as I'll be spending a large chunk of your wedding day by your side it helps if we get along!

THE BEST PART!!! I'll show up ready and excited to shoot your day!
Then 6-12 weeks after your wedding you will receive your final online gallery and slideshow.
The images are provided in high resolution (for printing) and low resolution (for online sharing) and do not come watermarked so they are all yours to download/print/share however you like!
A few days after your wedding i'll send through a wee preview / a selection of your images via an online gallery so you can quickly share with family and friends!

To help you get those images off your hard drive and onto your walls
I spent a significant amount of time and effort to ensure that every wedding I photograph captures the couples unique day. I'm always on the other end of an email to chat about your wedding, I can offer guidance on timing, lighting, locations, styling, and supplier recommendations. Apart from the hours spent on your wedding day, I invest over 35 hours on average editing your photos with my distinctive style.
To maintain this level of quality and individual attention, I do limit the number of weddings I take on annually.
As mentioned above my base package starts at $4000 for 6 hours, and then you can just add additional hours at a rate of $250 per hour based on your needs for the wedding day. ie.
8h: $4500
10h:$5000
Often 9 hours of photography ($4750) is what works best for about 90% of my couples.

To help with planning I have an all inclusive travel fee for different areas.
Not sure that what you have selected will cover everything you want it to?
No problem, simply add on some extra hours before your wedding and i'll be there for whatever time you need!
Want a second angle on your canapes or want both the bride and groom prep captured at the same time?
As much as I wish I could be in two places at once for you, sometimes thats just not possible.
Thats where a handy second shooter comes in!
Don't want to wait 6-12 weeks to see all of your photos! Skip the queue and add the rush service and I can have your photos in your hands 10 days after your wedding!

ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS
I highly recommend having an engagement session before your wedding day. Not only is this a great opportunity for you to get some great photos but it also gives you both a chance to become familiar with being in front of the camera and my style.
It’s fun and it’s a great opportunity for me to get to know you both, which will help put you at ease on your wedding day. It’s always great to select a location that has a special meaning for the two of you as well. For instance a favourite café, or park you normally go to.
If you are unsure of which locations would be best I would be happy to suggest some options for you.

Where are you based?
I live in Tauranga in the (usually sunny) Bay of Plenty.
We are a bit shy and might be awkward in front of the camera, can you work with that?
If you take a quick look at my reviews, you might see a common thread running through them all. I have this superpower of making couples feel totally comfortable around me, we'll have a blast, I promise!
It might take a photo or two to ease into it, but trust me, but the end you'll barely even notice the camera! And the result? You'll end up with some amazing photos that truly reflect you as a couple.
Do you do Same Sex Weddings?
Of course! I just love photographing people who are in love!
No matter how you identify I can't wait to be a part of your day!
How would you describe your style?
My approach to wedding photography is relaxed, candid and fun! I want to work with you to document all of the moments that are important to you as a couple on your wedding day – what makes you smile, laugh out loud, and even those moment’s you almost cry.
I really want you to enjoy your wedding day and not feel like the entire day was a photoshoot where you just happened to get married.
FAQ
How many images will I get?
Usually around 500-1000 per wedding day but it really depends on how many hours coverage you get. Usually around 120 images for every hour I am at your wedding.
What if I want to add things on or change how many hours I have booked?
No stress! Once I am booked in for your wedding day that day is locked off in my calendar, we can finalise all those other little details around 6weeks before your wedding when we are discussing your final run sheet.
If you do want a second shooter I do ask that you let me know in advance though so can lock in someone awesome for you! I work with many different talented second photographers who run their own businesses so it helps to book them in early!
What if we don't want our images on social media?
No worries at all! I can completely respect that, if you don't want your images being shared on my social media platforms that is totally fine! In fact I actually ask that in your final run sheet too.
What happens if disaster strikes?
In the unlikely event that I am prevented from making it to your day, (I haven't missed one yet!) I have a wonderful circle of other talented photographers who will be able to step in to help out.
They are all very talented photographers who will take good care of you.
What happens if it rains?
No problem! Then we get out there with umbrellas! Some amazing photos have come from celebrations in unfortunate weather… we won’t let it stand in our way. We will make the best of any situation and capture beautiful images regardless of the weather.
Do we need to feed you on the day?
Yes please! Especially if I am at your wedding for over 7 hours, I am generally on my feet and moving around the entire time so it is greatly appreciated if you do send a meal my way.
Do you hand over the high res images?
Yes, all my packages come with high resolution jpeg images.
This means that after your wedding the images are all yours, no watermarks, no hidden agenda. They are yours, print them, share them, put a wall sized canvas up in your home. It’s completely up to you!
I do also offer high quality prints and albums as well, because there really is nothing quite like seeing your photos beautifully printed and hanging in your home.
What do you shoot with?
I shoot with Canon gear, I have 2 bodies and use a variety of different lenses. I will also always have gear back-ups, flashes and a tripod with me just in case as well!

THINGS FOR YOUR WALLS
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked... all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere.

Why I think Weddings are the FREAKING BEST!!!
I have always been first and foremost a portrait photographer, I find people fascinating and I love to capture emotion, which is why I absolutely love weddings.
It’s something about the absolute happiness that surrounds the day, the look on their face when they see their partner for the first time, that flower girl dancing when she thinks no-one is watching. Those cute wee glances between the couple throughout the day . . . All of those little moments that make every single wedding unique.
These are the moments I search for.
YES I will capture amazing portraits of you and YES I will document the ceremony and reception but I also want to capture the little things that make your day special.
The way I shoot weddings is very relaxed, easy going and a little bit fun. I want to be able to transport you back to the day the photographs were taken. An honest documentation so you can remember everything exactly as it was.
Nothing is more important than real, genuine happiness and moments.
I truly believe that photography is not just about pretty photos, its about capturing the things that are important to you. Its about freezing a moment in time that illustrates exactly how you were feeling, why you were laughing, why you were brought to tears and creating a memory that will last.
I want to create images that in 5, 10 or even 50 years you can look back on and the memories just come flooding back.
