I know it might seem like a lot of information, but I want to cover as much as possible upfront to help you make an informed decision. Picking your wedding photographer is a big deal, after all!
Since I'll be spending a significant amount of time with you on your wedding day, it's essential that you feel a connection with me and my style. It truly makes a difference in capturing the best moments and creating a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. So, if you get the sense that we could get along or if my photography style resonates with you, it's a great starting point!

And guess what? I want that mind-blowing awesomeness for YOU too! That crazy love, overflowing happiness, and pure joy that happens on a wedding day— and I want to capture every single bit of it for you!
This is YOUR day, and you get to call the shots. No rules, no boundaries. You don’t want the big wedding, no worries. Don't feel like rocking a traditional white dress? Who cares! Wear whatever the heck makes you feel amazing.
Cake not your thing? No problem! Do you want it to be just you and your partner and nothing but the mountains for company (well maybe a celebrant just so it’s actually a legal). Then do that!

HOW MUCH WILL WE TALK BEFORE THE WEDDING?
My inbox is always open for any chat about your wedding!
Other than that I will also be in touch around 6 weeks before the wedding.
I will send through a questionnaire that I will get your to fill out with all the details for your wedding.
I will also send your final invoice at this time.
WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?
No problem! Then we get out there with umbrellas! Some amazing photos have come from celebrations in unfortunate weather, we won’t let it stand in our way.
If you aren't keen for that then in my pre-wedding scout I will make sure I find some wet weather back up options.
HOW DO WE LOCK IN OUR BOOKING?
I require a $500 deposit and a signed contract to secure your booking. After that the remaining balance is due 1 month before your wedding date.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
I sure do, here is my pricing for any NZ travel -
Travel within 1h of Tauranga: Free
1-3 hours away: $250
3+ hours away: $600
South Island: $1000
WHAT DO YOU SHOOT WITH?
I shoot with Canon gear, I have 2 bodies and use a variety of different lenses. I will also always have gear back-ups, flashes and a tripod with me just in case as well!
HOW DO WE GET THAT AMAZING GOLDEN LIGHT FOR OUR PHOTOS?
Glad you asked! The best time of day for your portraits is generally in the hour or two before sunset, that’s when the light is beautiful and golden. I would generally suggest you have your bridal portraits around this time and your ceremony a couple of hours beforehand.
That being said, it’s also your wedding day, do what you want! I am sure we will find some stunning locations for your portraits no matter what time of day it is.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN SHOOTING WEDDINGS?
Over 10 years now and I still absolutely love it!
Every wedding and celebration is always so different.
CAN YOU HELP WITH OUR VENDORS?
There are some pretty incredible wedding vendors in the Bay of Plenty region and I feel lucky to work with some many incredible businesses on weddings.

what happens after the wedding
A few days after your wedding i'll send through a wee preview / a selection of your images via an online gallery so you can quickly share with family and friends!
Then 4-9 weeks after your wedding you will recieve your final online gallery and slideshow. The images are provided in high resolution (for printing) and low resolution (for online sharing) and do not come watermarked so they are all yours to download/print/share however you like!
Your gallery also comes with a personalised online shop where you can order prints or frames after the wedding if you would like.
Your online gallery will stay online for 1 year so please make sure your download the images within that timeframe.

THINGS FOR YOUR WALLS
What you're going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you're planning, but it's all too often the aspect that's overlooked... all that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere.
You'll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album so below is just a small sample of some of the items you will be able to choose from in your personalised online gallery store after your images are delivered.

We can do this via an online chat, or in person in Tauranga. You can meet me, see how you feel around me and if you feel like you want me to be the one following you around with a camera on your wedding day. I can answer any questions you might still have.
AFTER OUR CHAT, MAKE A FINAL DECISION
You don't have to book during the call, finish the call, have a chat and decide if i'm the one you want to photograph your day. I want you to be 110% confident i'm the one for you before you book me in! If you're keen, awesome!
Just remember, your date is not locked in until you have signed the contract and your booking fee is in my account.
